Jim Ackroyd hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Le in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frankie Child prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Julian Skjelbred got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frankie Child quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Thomas Jansen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagene IF's protests and gave Thomas Jansen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Des Ealham got a free kick in the 71st minute. Runar Nyvoll hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Sagene IF's Olav Westad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sagene IF from getting a goal against them. When Simon Roche came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Arrows Academy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Roche couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Boyce during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Runar Nyvoll hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Arrows Academy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Ackroyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Carl Løvlien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sagene IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrows Academy FC the free kick. In the 96th match minute, Sagene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Løvlien to maneuver through the defense.
