Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Tam Clerk made the kick off and thus started the match. Alisdair Ferries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Assing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4thth minute of the game Ebbo Böse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Mokros to maneuver through the defense. The Lord of the Wings fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Lord of the Wings's Tam Clerk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Assing in the 17th minute of play forced Lord of the Wings's goalkeeper Alisdair Ferries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alisdair Ferries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Assing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisdair Ferries came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Rot-Weiss-Essen's Erkan Fostiropoulos. But to his dismay, Erkan Fostiropoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alisdair Ferries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ebbo Böse in the 35th minute of the match. Alisdair Ferries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebbo Böse in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Ebbo Böse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisdair Ferries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alisdair Ferries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkan Fostiropoulos in the 40th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erkan Fostiropoulos made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Erkan Fostiropoulos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries. Alisdair Ferries was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fergus Malcolm hit a great ball. Erkan Fostiropoulos, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Alisdair Ferries successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Björn Mokros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alisdair Ferries came out and tried to block the shot, but Björn Mokros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 65th minute. Alisdair Ferries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkan Fostiropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Lord of the Wings booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavi Haberer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ebbo Böse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alisdair Ferries. That made the score 1-4 in the 75 minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ebbo Böse to maneuver through the defense. If Tam Clerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tam Clerk in the 89th minute of play. Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkan Fostiropoulos in the 93rd minute of play. Elmar Assing's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alisdair Ferries firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Lord of the Wings supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rot-Weiss-Essen's performance. The match ended with a win for Rot-Weiss-Essen.
