Alisdair Ferries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pēteris Kapteinis, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Lord of the Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Mārcis Pripāns came free, but Alisdair Ferries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mārcis Pripāns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alisdair Ferries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tam Clerk might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justs Budnieks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tam Clerk ran back to his position shaking his head. Alisdair Ferries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albīns Rumpeters, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Edmond Mason charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmond Mason the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edmond Mason hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Laimiņs Bunķis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black horses and the Lord of the Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lord of the Wings booed when Black horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laimiņs Bunķis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tam Clerk in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justs Budnieks saved Black horses from getting behind. When Edmond Mason came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Lord of the Wings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Mason couldn't finish the play. Lord of the Wings's Edmond Mason got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Edmond Mason off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Edmond Mason got a free kick in the 34th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Mārcis Pripāns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alisdair Ferries was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Black horses were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Albīns Rumpeters came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alisdair Ferries could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Black horses's zone, Tam Clerk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justs Budnieks came out of the goal and Tam Clerk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the game, Black horses's Albīns Rumpeters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alisdair Ferries made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Black horses made a substitution. Auseklis Blitsons replaced Laimiņs Bunķis. Ardis Kristolds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alisdair Ferries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albīns Rumpeters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Mārcis Pripāns notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lord of the Wings's Alisdair Ferries. Alisdair Ferries was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Black horses booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fergus Clement didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lord of the Wings's zone, Lauris Kārlis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisdair Ferries came out of the goal and Lauris Kārlis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lord of the Wings booed when Black horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Auseklis Blitsons didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Lord of the Wings defense, Mārcis Pripāns kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alisdair Ferries. The Lord of the Wings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisdair Ferries should have stopped the shot. Albīns Rumpeters received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alisdair Ferries came out and tried to block the shot, but Albīns Rumpeters slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 88th minute. When the final whistle sounded Black horses left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lord of the Wings.
