After 22 played minutes STARGARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Jim Siekemeier. When Daniel Crabtree came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Juventus Telford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Crabtree couldn't finish the play. Ole Ruge kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the STARGARD FC defense, Tris Hurst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lance Haßke. The STARGARD FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lance Haßke should have stopped the shot. After 37 minutes, Tris Hurst made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tris Hurst scored 0-6 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lance Haßke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Lance Haßke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Barney Garner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus Telford's supporters rose to their feet, but Barney Garner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Haßke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save STARGARD FC from getting a goal against them.
