Paul Minert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Urbieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, lyptus's Tony Heiselberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. JK raamatuid.ee's Hubert Kalinin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save JK raamatuid.ee from getting a goal against them. A collision led to lyptus getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Frands Stensved hit a great ball. lyptus's Rune Perlstrøm got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17thth minute of the game Nestor Urbieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lyptus's Paul Minert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nestor Urbieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frands Stensved recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of JK raamatuid.ee booed when lyptus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frands Stensved didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Perlstrøm was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, JK raamatuid.ee's Lennart Bivall got a free kick in the 50th minute. Frands Stensved fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Kalinin having to interfere. Paul Minert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ainar Kork in the 56th minute of the match. Ainar Kork received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Paul Minert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nestor Urbieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
