FC COSA NOSTRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jørgen Ebler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kent Helsgaard charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Helsgaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Skellerup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Helsgaard to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jonas Mališauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Mališauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vagnar Roebel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, FC COSA NOSTRA's goal looked a bit too open when Gorm Adsersen came free, but Rytis Paškevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Skellerup FC defense, Jonas Mališauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vagnar Roebel. The Skellerup FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vagnar Roebel should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramūnas Budraitis came free, but Vagnar Roebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vagnar Roebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virginijus Žalpys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Ramūnas Budraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vagnar Roebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Virginijus Žalpys notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Skellerup FC's Vagnar Roebel. Jørgen Ebler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Rytis Paškevičius made a huge save. In the 39th minute of the match Skellerup FC got a corner. FC COSA NOSTRA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jørgen Ebler ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 39 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Aloyzas Jučas. Rytis Paškevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Ebler, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jørgen Ebler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Alfredas Vaitkevičius fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vagnar Roebel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredas Vaitkevičius in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Mališauskas in the 64th minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Vagnar Roebel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vagnar Roebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramūnas Budraitis in the 65th minute of play. Vagnar Roebel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentas Vaišvila's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
