Laurynas Šarkauskas lost his temper 2 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 4 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's Tanel Raju broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Svajūnas Božys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endel Emane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's goal looked a bit too open when Alvydas Gabriūnas came free, but Taavi Jõekallas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Goodfellas's Tanel Raju got a free kick in the 9th minute. Svajūnas Božys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Tälli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Endel Emane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Alfredas Klenkys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savage Hippo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredas Klenkys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taavi Jõekallas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredas Klenkys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Goodfellas booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simonas Balčys didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alfredas Klenkys hit a great ball. Algimantas Zakaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavi Jõekallas having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Endel Emane was the one to do the kick off. Savage Hippo's Alvydas Gabriūnas got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredas Klenkys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when FC Goodfellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kert Hindremäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taavi Jõekallas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredas Klenkys's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. If Alvydas Gabriūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvydas Gabriūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavi Jõekallas having to interfere. Alfredas Klenkys struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Taavi Jõekallas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savage Hippo. If Alfredas Klenkys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Alfredas Klenkys got a free kick in the 78th minute. Svajūnas Božys made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Oskar Tälli sent off a good shot on target. If Alfredas Klenkys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredas Klenkys in the 84th minute of play forced FC Goodfellas's goalkeeper Taavi Jõekallas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Edmundas Kšanavičius hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Goodfellas booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simonas Balčys didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alfredas Klenkys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taavi Jõekallas was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
