Janar Taelma scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Merioja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Onkel struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Lennart Merioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Muuga United. In the 10th minute Samuel Onkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Merioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match, Henri Villem tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egert Ilmatark saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joonas Nõmmiste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Egert Ilmatark made a huge save. After 24 minutes, Ronald Kask mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kogimyae JK and the FC Muuga United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Kogimyae JK's zone, Janar Taelma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Merioja came out of the goal and Janar Taelma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egert Ilmatark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Villem in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of FC Muuga United booed when Kogimyae JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joonas Nõmmiste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Merioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuldar Vall, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Kogimyae JK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Olavi Lainevoog hit a great ball. Lennart Merioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janar Taelma in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute FC Muuga United were awarded a corner. Tom Ellermaa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tom Ellermaa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja did a great save. Endel Alev kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FC Muuga United's goalkeeper Egert Ilmatark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronald Kask. In the 39th minute Kogimyae JK were awarded a corner. Ronald Kask went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ronald Kask almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Muuga United's Egert Ilmatark did a great save. Leopold Eits short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Egert Ilmatark to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuldar Vall in the 41st minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Lennart Merioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Merioja came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Muuga United's Janar Taelma. But to his dismay, Janar Taelma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lennart Merioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Onkel in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janar Taelma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronald Kask received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Egert Ilmatark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Kogimyae JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kuldar Vall came free, but Lennart Merioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janar Taelma in the 57th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Kogimyae JK's Henri Villem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egert Ilmatark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kuldar Vall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja got control of the ball when Samuel Onkel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 played minutes FC Muuga United got a freekick which was hit by Eiko Lüdimois. In the 76th minute of the match Ronald Kask sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egert Ilmatark skillfully saved the ball. In the 82nd minute Henri Villem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egert Ilmatark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Merioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janar Taelma in the 84th minute of the match. Lennart Merioja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Onkel in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Kogimyae JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavi Lainevoog to maneuver through the defense. Egert Ilmatark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Kask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Valter Vaarandi made a precise shot to the right of Lennart Merioja. Kogimyae JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. FC Muuga United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
