Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aílton Leme got the match started through his kick off. When Julian Froylan came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the KFC Uerdingen 05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Froylan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Lilli's Helmut Degner got a free kick in the 6th minute. Pepe Kapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Julian Froylan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Uerdingen 05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pepe Kapp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Froylan's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. KFC Uerdingen 05's Julian Froylan got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pepe Kapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Froylan in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14thth minute of the game Julian Froylan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lilli's Pepe Kapp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Thuram. 28 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Lilli's Pepe Kapp. Pepe Kapp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The corner led KFC Uerdingen 05's Edin Džeko to fire away a dangerous shot which Pepe Kapp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 45 played minutes FC Lilli got a freekick which was hit by Henning Zindel. After the first half KFC Uerdingen 05 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Julian Froylan made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, one of FC Lilli:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Lilli. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Froylan in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Kapp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Froylan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Kapp saved FC Lilli from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Andreas Brehme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Uerdingen 05's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lilli the free kick. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Andreas Brehme hit a great ball. Adi Allensbach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Wischnowsky having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adi Allensbach in the 70th minute of play forced KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Gabriel Wischnowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the game's 70th minute FC Lilli's Adi Allensbach took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Gabriel Wischnowsky and thus the score was 1-4. Edin Džeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pepe Kapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Wischnowsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Zindel in the 76th minute of play. Pepe Kapp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timo Wegner's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Julian Froylan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepe Kapp was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Edin Džeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pepe Kapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Eberhardt couldn't finish the play. KFC Uerdingen 05's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
