After 2 played minutes SK Annenieki got a freekick which was hit by Donats Rudmalis. 4 minutes into the match, Dimitar Berbatov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inārs Ozolkalns. SK Annenieki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitar Berbatov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Karl Hermer hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Aivils Aiza had several of the FC Nordsjælland's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Henning Sæmer as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristaps Krāmens in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Sæmer saved FC Nordsjælland from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Berbatov came free, but Inārs Ozolkalns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Dimitar Berbatov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inārs Ozolkalns was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer got control of the ball when Aivils Aiza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 minutes FC Nordsjælland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Konrāds Konča who took care of the corner kick. 35 minutes into the match, Aivils Aiza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Sæmer. FC Nordsjælland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aivils Aiza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 39th minute, SK Annenieki's Kristaps Krāmens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henning Sæmer. Henning Sæmer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. With a little luck, FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer got control of the ball when Aivils Aiza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inārs Ozolkalns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sindre Walle in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Nikolajs Vorkals hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Henning Sæmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aivils Aiza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Karl Hermer got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Henning Sæmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donats Rudmalis in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Donats Rudmalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aivils Aiza in the 72nd minute of play. SK Annenieki's Inārs Ozolkalns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save SK Annenieki from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's Aivils Aiza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Sæmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kristaps Krāmens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aivils Aiza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibrahim Osman didn't get a good kick on the ball. SK Annenieki were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Nordsjælland for a fine match.
