Pepe Kapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Johan Aure in the 3rd minute of play. After 7 played minutes Totti FC got a freekick which was hit by Harald Gjessing. A collision led to Totti FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ståle Nordvik hit a great ball. Jannes Haubach kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Birger Søbstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adi Allensbach went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 28 played minutes Totti FC got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Skram. After having played for 31 minutes, Jörg Püschel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lilli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörg Püschel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörg Püschel got free with Birger Søbstad in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Øivind Ensrud in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Kapp saved FC Lilli from getting behind. Birger Søbstad had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Toni Hennrich's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 43 minutes into the game, one of FC Lilli:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A hard shot 48 in the game by Jörg Püschel from a close distance when the talented Birger Søbstad managed to make a qualified save. Totti FC's players were relieved. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörg Püschel was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Totti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörg Püschel came free, but Birger Søbstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Søbstad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lilli's zone, Øivind Ensrud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Kapp came out of the goal and Øivind Ensrud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birger Søbstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Hennrich in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Totti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Skram to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Toni Hennrich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lilli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toni Hennrich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Lilli booed when Totti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Johan Aure didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Jörg Püschel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lilli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörg Püschel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birger Søbstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Püschel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Totti FC's Ole-Johan Aure ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pepe Kapp. Pepe Kapp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 90th minute, Ole-Johan Aure reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pepe Kapp. The goal made the score 2-3. After 96 played minutes FC Lilli got a freekick which was hit by Toni Hennrich. Totti FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Lilli's much stronger midfield.
