In the 18th minute of the match, Erik Cantona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristian Evenstad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
