After a defensive mix-up in FC Nordsjælland's zone, Ole-Johan Aure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Jeppe Tverskov got a free kick in the 11th minute. Henning Sæmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Øivind Ensrud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Totti FC's goalkeeper Birger Søbstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitar Berbatov. Birger Søbstad was a little too slow when Sindre Walle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 19th minute, Jonathan Østmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Totti FC's Birger Søbstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Totti FC from getting a goal against them. Henning Sæmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Johan Aure in the 23rd minute of play. Henning Sæmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Johan Aure in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeppe Tverskov to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Kai-Arne Tangen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Totti FC booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eberhardt Sarbak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Øivind Ensrud made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Totti FC's Harald Gjessing got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ståle Nordvik kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Dimitar Berbatov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Søbstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match FC Nordsjælland got a corner. Totti FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Totti FC:s Birger Søbstad showed great skill when he stopped Andreas Schjelderup:s penalty.
