Juozas Zelmikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Folmar Dandanell made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Romholt in the 23rd minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Aldas Saulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Geležinis Vilkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Girkantas Laucius to maneuver through the defense. The Hønning fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
