The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benedikt Lettinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Blatzheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rudi Georgii fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Möhnsen FC's protests and gave Rudi Georgii a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Rudi Georgii hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedikt Lettinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Auchter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Arthur Auchter made a precise shot to the right of Benedikt Lettinger. Möhnsen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Großberghofen's Sebastian Blatzheim in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Möhnsen FC's Benedikt Lettinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Heidsiek in the 34th minute of play. Benedikt Lettinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelis König, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cornelis König spun around in front of the goal 35 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Möhnsen FC's goal. Möhnsen FC's Benedikt Lettinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Poll in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Möhnsen FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lasse Linsert hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antoine Heidsiek was the one to do the kick off. Benedikt Lettinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelis König, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Auchter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedikt Lettinger having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Benedikt Lettinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Blatzheim. Benedikt Lettinger made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Arthur Auchter sent off a good shot on target. Benedikt Lettinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis König in the 67th minute of play. Benedikt Lettinger came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Großberghofen's Antoine Heidsiek. But to his dismay, Antoine Heidsiek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Großberghofen's Ruben Pieschke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Georgii in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Möhnsen FC's Benedikt Lettinger got control of the ball when Arthur Auchter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Möhnsen FC's Benedikt Lettinger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Möhnsen FC from getting a goal against them. Benedikt Lettinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Blatzheim's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Möhnsen FC's Benedikt Lettinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Heidsiek in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Eusebio Hörner had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edson Neidlein during the 84th minute.
