The supporters of NTA19 booed when Æsir Ásgarðr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Skjöldur Reimarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Rune Tronstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes of play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Sólbjörn Guðnason made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Frode Aarseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Skarphéðinn Ormarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Grøndalen in the 23rd minute of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Sólbjörn Guðnason from a close distance when the talented Jan-Frode Aarseth managed to make a qualified save. NTA19's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Sólbjörn Guðnason put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Frode Aarseth. Sólbjörn Guðnason made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 36thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jan-Frode Aarseth would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Hrói Indriðason hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to NTA19 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rune Tronstad hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Kenneth Frøystad during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Kenneth Frøystad kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

54 minutes in the game, Sólbjörn Guðnason dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Tronstad in the 57th minute of the match. If Sólbjörn Guðnason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Sólbjörn Guðnason sped through NTA19's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan-Frode Aarseth. After having played for 65 minutes, Sólbjörn Guðnason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sólbjörn Guðnason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skjöldur Reimarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jan-Frode Aarseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ámundi Hallmundsson in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Frode Aarseth saved NTA19 from getting behind. In the 76th minute of the game Hrói Indriðason made a throw-in which Dýri Jósafatsson played forward. Ámundi Hallmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Frode Aarseth having to interfere. Jan-Kenneth Frøystad got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Æsir Ásgarðr booed when NTA19 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Kenneth Frøystad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mórits Hamarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jan-Frode Aarseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sólbjörn Guðnason took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Frode Aarseth. Jan-Frode Aarseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 89 minutes, Skjöldur Reimarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Æsir Ásgarðr and the NTA19 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rune Grøndalen's late challenge caught a Æsir Ásgarðr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Grøndalen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Æsir Ásgarðr booed when NTA19 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Grøndalen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Æsir Ásgarðr walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
