In the 6th match minute, Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piet Gradistanac to maneuver through the defense. Kayacan Tahir was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. Tiger's Rolf Matzken was substituted for Roswin Westermayer. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tiger! The referee gave Hexo Utd a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Deividas Gedgaudas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tiger's Kristian Willem Neuling. 0-1. In the 26th minute, Albrecht Kowalke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristijonas Juzonis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Hexo Utd getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ernestas Juška hit a great ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Rolf Matzken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hexo Utd's Kristijonas Juzonis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Jarūnas Laužikas came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hexo Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarūnas Laužikas couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Piet Gradistanac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Willem Neuling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modestas Mikelionis in the 42nd minute of the match. Kristijonas Juzonis made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Arvid Wacker sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolf Matzken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Rolf Matzken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hexo Utd the free kick. Rolf Matzken kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Vėjas Geibūnas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hexo Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vėjas Geibūnas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Arvid Wacker got a free kick in the 54th minute. Kristian Willem Neuling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarūnas Laužikas in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Hexo Utd's Modestas Mikelionis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristian Willem Neuling. Kristian Willem Neuling yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Kristian Willem Neuling didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Albertas Marcišauskas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tiger made a substitution. Antonius Zagermann replaced Olgierd Lato. Romualdas Misius kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Tiger's Fulko Schwaderer was substituted for Günther Scharpe. Rolf Matzken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jarūnas Laužikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Margiris Kerpauskas in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Willem Neuling saved Tiger from getting behind. After 93 minutes of play, Tiger's Elis Färber made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristijonas Juzonis was left in no man's land by his defense there!
