Jez Alcock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Asmund Sjøberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stuart Greenfield in the 24th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Brage Vetrhus made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's Brage Vetrhus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 梅荣光 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brage Vetrhus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but 梅荣光 made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brage Vetrhus in the 61st minute of play forced Leicester Foxes Academy's goalkeeper 梅荣光 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asmund Sjøberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Niven in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Brage Vetrhus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 梅荣光 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Andy Peake made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Nerd Herd's Geir-Inge Torstensen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Pennant during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leicester Foxes Academy's 梅荣光 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Christian Taksdal in the 88th minute of play. When Leicester Foxes Academy's Dean Niven in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
