Ronald Breitbücher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Olaf Lübke made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronald Breitbücher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olaf Lübke. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After 11 minutes, Heinrich Langer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Otten and the De Gulden Draak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismail Köhler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Schilder, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Ronnie Schilder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De Gulden Draak's Ismail Köhler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Tenhagen in the 28th minute of play. Ismail Köhler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudi Tenhagen in the 35th minute of the match. When Evert Heremans came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the De Gulden Draak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Heremans couldn't finish the play. Ronnie Schilder kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ismail Köhler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Schilder in the 45th minute of the match.

SC Otten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 88th match minute, SC Otten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Vielmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Evert Heremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Lübke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Ellis Thierse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Gulden Draak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Otten the free kick. Ellis Thierse hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
