Schorsch Schmalzbauer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Asmund Sjøberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asmund Sjøberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Schorsch Schmalzbauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmund Sjøberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Schorsch Schmalzbauer got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tony Henwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brage Vetrhus in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Schorsch Schmalzbauer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of The Nerd Herd's Asmund Sjøberg. Asmund Sjøberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Asmund Sjøberg came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Staffordshire Terrier FC's Schorsch Schmalzbauer. But to his dismay, Schorsch Schmalzbauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Staffordshire Terrier FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Waldemar Guimarães hit a great ball. When Ole-Einar Indergård fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Nerd Herd's protests and gave Ole-Einar Indergård a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ole-Einar Indergård hit a great ball. The throw-in from 郑松骋 in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Nerd Herd's Nils-Christian Taksdal. In the 46thth minute of the game Brage Vetrhus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staffordshire Terrier FC's Tony Henwood was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Schorsch Schmalzbauer to strike the kick off in the second half. Schorsch Schmalzbauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Asmund Sjøberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Schorsch Schmalzbauer ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the game, Geir-Inge Torstensen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Jay Flack quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Schorsch Schmalzbauer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asmund Sjøberg was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Oakley Smith was substituted for Mark Mager. After 76 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Ole-Einar Indergård. Asmund Sjøberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Schorsch Schmalzbauer's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Tristram Gower's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asmund Sjøberg was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Brage Vetrhus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
