In the 8th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Pope to maneuver through the defense. When Give Peace a Chance's Lu Sang in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dorking United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Trevor Burns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Sang in the 19th minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Trevor Burns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trevor Burns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frido Stumpf's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Scott Waller got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Trevor Burns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorking United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Konstantin Hirte scored to the left of an out of position Trevor Burns, making the score, 2-1. After 27 minutes, Nicky Conway mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorking United FC and the Give Peace a Chance players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Conway. With 28 minutes on the clock, Darryl Delaney commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Dorking United FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Give Peace a Chance:s goal. With a little luck, Dorking United FC's Trevor Burns got control of the ball when Lu Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Give Peace a Chance's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lennie Langhammer in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on Give Peace a Chance's corner Lennie Langhammer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Trevor Burns quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th minute Konstantin Hirte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Burns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trevor Burns made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Konstantin Hirte sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Lu Sang made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Tommy Sparks got a free kick in the 51st minute. Dorking United FC's Trevor Burns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennie Langhammer in the 52nd minute of play. Scott Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Russ Murray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trevor Burns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Hirte, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pete Pope got free with Erdem Kazım in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erdem Kazım made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Dimmock in the 71st minute of play. Give Peace a Chance made a substitution. Kay Wering replaced Konstantin Hirte. Trevor Burns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frido Stumpf in the 75th minute of the match. Erdem Kazım stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Sparks's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Pete Pope did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Erdem Kazım 85 minutes into the match. If Pete Pope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Give Peace a Chance's Erdem Kazım got control of the ball when Darius Dimmock tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Tommy Sparks got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
