In the 7th minute, Jasper Delamore made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Van Dyck. Uggeløse SIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With an all-out effort, Uggeløse SIK's Fabien Barthez threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Holger Brandhøj, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Wenike. Alex Wenike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Fabien Barthez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Des Wicks in the 20th minute of play forced Uggeløse SIK's goalkeeper Gabriel Van Dyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Wenike stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Alex Wenike managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uggeløse SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Wenike was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Wenike in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabien Barthez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Uggeløse SIK booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rex Attenborough didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Uggeløse SIK's Alex Wenike got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Egg Chasers FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Egg Chasers FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
