If Wolfgang Vesterø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Eduardo Beltrami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyge Oehlerich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Pawlik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 任正振 in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Pheonix FC booed when Grimório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juss Vagula didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Marcel Militaru in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grimório's Janar Kirst. Waldemar Pawlik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wolfgang Vesterø's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Tyge Oehlerich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Holm in the 18th minute of play. Waldemar Pawlik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolfgang Vesterø went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Beltrami in the 33rd minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Gullesson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pheonix FC's 任正振 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Grimório's 나 난 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonhard Askeby in the 46 minute of the game. After the first half Pheonix FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 played minutes Grimório got a freekick which was hit by Juss Vagula. Wolfgang Vesterø who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Waldemar Pawlik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 任正振 struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Waldemar Pawlik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pheonix FC. Eduardo Beltrami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyge Oehlerich having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Grimório was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juss Vagula to maneuver through the defense.
