The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidijus Andrišiūnas got free with Tommy Thompson in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidijus Andrišiūnas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tommy Thompson made a huge save. Tommy Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šarūnas Žvigaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Algitas Girkantas made the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vaclovas Jurkus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 88 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Eneko. Ashley Wiseman kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
