Charilaos Katevatis came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Les diables noirs's Gustave Pierrel. But to his dismay, Gustave Pierrel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Charilaos Katevatis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moïse Ganivet got free with Charilaos Katevatis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charilaos Katevatis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henri in the 31st minute of the match. Gustave Pierrel's late challenge caught a Highway to Hell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustave Pierrel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Les diables noirs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Pierrel to maneuver through the defense. Alexandros Filippas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kevan Grange. Les diables noirs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Henri got free with Charilaos Katevatis in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Highway to Hell's goalkeeper Charilaos Katevatis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thierry Henri. 42 minutes into the match, Highway to Hell's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henri came free, but Charilaos Katevatis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charilaos Katevatis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Henri, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Vassilis Agathiou hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Menelaos Alexopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Agathiou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kevan Grange made a huge save. Charilaos Katevatis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moïse Ganivet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Menelaos Alexopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Kevan Grange. Les diables noirs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Agathiou in the 63rd minute of play. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tasos Katsantonis's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Menelaos Alexopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Thierry Henri made a precise shot to the right of Charilaos Katevatis. Highway to Hell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 74 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's goalkeeper Kevan Grange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Menelaos Alexopoulos. The Highway to Hell fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Highway to Hell's Menelaos Alexopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Menelaos Alexopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kevan Grange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Thierry Henri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charilaos Katevatis. Highway to Hell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thierry Henri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Menelaos Alexopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Kevan Grange made a huge save. In the 94th minute Gustave Pierrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charilaos Katevatis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les diables noirs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
