Menelaos Alexopoulos started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Trifon Pergaminos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stathis Ipsilantis, 1-0. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trifon Pergaminos in the 8th minute of play. The corner led to Highway to Hell's Tasos Katsantonis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the Lapokhσri defense, Tasos Katsantonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. The Lapokhσri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stathis Ipsilantis should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Tasos Katsantonis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Lapokhσri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tasos Katsantonis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Stathis Ipsilantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Agathiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Stathis Ipsilantis was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Pavlos Oustabasidis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pavlos Oustabasidis really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After 25 minutes of play, Highway to Hell's Menelaos Alexopoulos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stathis Ipsilantis was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Agathiou in the 31st minute of play forced Lapokhσri's goalkeeper Stathis Ipsilantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Highway to Hell got a freekick which was hit by Omiros Nikolakakos. After some careless play in the Lapokhσri defense, Tasos Katsantonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. The Lapokhσri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stathis Ipsilantis should have stopped the shot. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Lapokhσri from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themis Koulakidis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Pavlos Oustabasidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Highway to Hell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Stathis Ipsilantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Katsantonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Agathiou in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Menelaos Alexopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stathis Ipsilantis was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 64 minutes into the game, Themis Koulakidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lapokhσri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Highway to Hell the free kick. A collision led to Lapokhσri getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Themis Koulakidis hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Alexandros Filippas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stathis Ipsilantis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stathis Ipsilantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Katsantonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute Takis Vrinas suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 74 minutes of play Lapokhσri's Themis Koulakidis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 76 played minutes, Highway to Hell's Alexandros Filippas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stathis Ipsilantis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Highway to Hell reached it. Paraskevas Rovolis charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paraskevas Rovolis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Lapokhσri got a freekick which was hit by Paraskevas Rovolis. The throw-in from Trifon Pergaminos in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lapokhσri's Paraskevas Rovolis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menelaos Alexopoulos in the 84th minute of play forced Lapokhσri's goalkeeper Stathis Ipsilantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraskevas Rovolis was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Lapokhσri's Paraskevas Rovolis got a free kick in the 86th minute. Stathis Ipsilantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menelaos Alexopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Agathiou in the 89th minute of play. Highway to Hell walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
