Felice Di Federico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Polybos Malavazos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Felice Di Federico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polybos Malavazos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Losito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Ruvelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when Kroton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco De Lucia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telis Giannakakos in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kroton F.C.'s Felice Di Federico got a free kick in the 16th minute. Elia Losito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Ruvelas in the 18th minute of the match. OMONOIA's Nikos Petrakos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elia Losito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22 played minutes Kroton F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Tardelli. Nikos Petrakos struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Elia Losito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OMONOIA. In the 30th minute, Felice Di Federico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Polybos Malavazos. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Ruvelas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elia Losito was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some careless play in the OMONOIA defense, Cristiano Ciarrocchi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Polybos Malavazos. The OMONOIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Polybos Malavazos should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goalkeeper Polybos Malavazos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Ciarrocchi.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Di Febo in the 69th minute of play forced OMONOIA's goalkeeper Polybos Malavazos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Zangari might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Polybos Malavazos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davide Zangari ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Granato came free, but Polybos Malavazos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kerkyon Belesis's late challenge caught a Kroton F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerkyon Belesis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Cristiano Ciarrocchi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Polybos Malavazos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 91 minutes into the game, Francesco De Lucia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kroton F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OMONOIA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kroton F.C.'s Francesco De Lucia got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Ruvelas came free, but Elia Losito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kroton F.C. fully deserved thier win.
