Polybos Malavazos came out of the goal and Nikolas Kavafis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Epigonoi Tsarouhtsis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 72nd playminute. Aigis Antonopoulos took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telis Kousouridis. Telis Kousouridis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Epigonoi Tsarouhtsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telis Kousouridis having to interfere. OMONOIA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
