The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stelios Philipidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Francis Murtopo made a huge save. With an all-out effort, PAOK B's Francis Murtopo threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stelios Philipidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Philipidis in the 18th minute of play forced Pap FC's goalkeeper Francis Murtopo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francis Murtopo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Philipidis in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Pap FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stelios Philipidis came free, but Francis Murtopo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egemen Emek was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippos Stathopoulos got free with Francis Murtopo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stelios Philipidis made a kick off. Pap FC's Pantelis Sakelaridis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nixon Richard, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Pap FC's Francis Murtopo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yao Ting Bing in the 64th minute of play. Francis Murtopo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Katsikis in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Stelios Philipidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Murtopo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, PAOK B's Stelios Philipidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francis Murtopo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. PAOK B made a substitution. Giovanni Parisis replaced Filippos Stathopoulos. Francis Murtopo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Parisis in the 82nd minute of play. Francis Murtopo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelios Philipidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Pap FC's Francis Murtopo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Parisis in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to PAOK B getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Giovanni Parisis hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Yao Ting Bing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Murtopo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, PAOK B's Giovanni Parisis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francis Murtopo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PAOK B fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pap FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
