Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sotiris Panagiotopoulos in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stathis Seremetidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 played minutes P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Demis Tavanopoulos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kleanthis Karabelopoulos got free with Aris Tsobanis in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Akis Christatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stathis Seremetidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Panagiotopoulos in the 93rd minute of play forced Skafνdhi FC's goalkeeper Stathis Seremetidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
