The supporters of Akademia Maliqi booed when Panthiseiakos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Koulouris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kleanthis Koumentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oran Tahiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Panthiseiakos's Kleanthis Koumentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algert Boro in the 33rd minute of play. Sidni Tili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fragiskos Skrekis in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panthiseiakos's Fragiskos Skrekis got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Oran Tahiri notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Panthiseiakos's Kleanthis Koumentakis. Kleanthis Koumentakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Panthiseiakos's goal looked a bit too open when Ilirian Elezi came free, but Kleanthis Koumentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Akademia Maliqi's Algert Boro got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilirian Elezi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Koumentakis having to interfere. Kleanthis Koumentakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sefedin Gega in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Akademia Maliqi got a corner. Panthiseiakos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ilirian Elezi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ilirian Elezi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panthiseiakos's Kleanthis Koumentakis did a great save. 61 minutes into the game, Akademia Maliqi's Oran Tahiri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kleanthis Koumentakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. A collision led to Akademia Maliqi getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Olsi Berberi hit a great ball. Kleanthis Koumentakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oran Tahiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Xhenit Çinari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Akademia Maliqi's Kleanthis Koumentakis threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oran Tahiri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 92nd minute, Oran Tahiri made a precise shot to the right of Kleanthis Koumentakis. Panthiseiakos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
