Filippo Maccioni hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Kokkinopoulos in the 6th minute of play forced Bisturi F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Donadoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Bisturi F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Prokos came free, but Emanuele Donadoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikos Kalkavouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Emanuele Donadoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Azzolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Marinakis having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Bisturi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Rubini. A hard shot 21 in the game by Cosimo Gaeta from a close distance when the talented Theofanis Marinakis managed to make a qualified save. ΟΦΗ's players were relieved. The supporters of Bisturi F.C. booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Kalkavouras didn't get a good kick on the ball. ΟΦΗ's Theofanis Marinakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Gaeta in the 24th minute of play. Alfredo Oroni was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. Alfredo Oroni kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bisturi F.C.'s Comunardo Del Monte got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Prokos in the 29th minute of play forced Bisturi F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Donadoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Del Monte hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, Bisturi F.C.'s Comunardo Del Monte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bisturi F.C. reached it. Emanuele Donadoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Tzanetos in the 40th minute of play. Bisturi F.C.'s Emanuele Donadoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fanis Kokkinopoulos in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Babbis Prokos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuele Donadoni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 47 minutes, Babbis Prokos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΟΦΗ and the Bisturi F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ΟΦΗ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Babbis Prokos hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Muzzatti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ercole Cesare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Kalkavouras got free with Emanuele Donadoni in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Ercole Cesare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Theofanis Marinakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Bisturi F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kalkavouras came free, but Emanuele Donadoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Donadoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Prokos in the 60th minute of play. Bisturi F.C. made a substitution. Francesco Melone replaced Enzo Muzzatti. In the 68th match minute, ΟΦΗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Platonidis to maneuver through the defense. Francesco Melone struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Theofanis Marinakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bisturi F.C.. Domenico Rubini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Marinakis having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Comunardo Del Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Bisturi F.C.'s Federico Azzolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theofanis Marinakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Nikos Platonidis's late challenge caught a Bisturi F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Platonidis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ΟΦΗ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Nikos Platonidis hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Nikos Kalkavouras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuele Donadoni. The goal made the score 2-2. Nikos Kalkavouras received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Donadoni came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikos Kalkavouras slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Fanis Kokkinopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Donadoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ΟΦΗ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
