The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Miltos Argyrakos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Triez's Adil Sartre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Triez's Adil Sartre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Argyrakos in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Triez got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Marc. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sakis Manousos sped through Triez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adil Sartre. After 24 minutes, Sidney Marc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Triez and the AEK S.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Junior Duthil kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Adil Sartre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Manousos in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Junior Duthil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Triez's goal looked a bit too open when Miltos Argyrakos came free, but Adil Sartre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Triez got a freekick which was hit by Junior Duthil. Triez's Adil Sartre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Argyrakos in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakis Manousos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sakis Manousos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Adil Sartre made a huge save. Sakis Manousos kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Triez's keeper Adil Sartre was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After having played for 77 minutes, Miltos Argyrakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Ibrahim Magniez fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triez's protests and gave Ibrahim Magniez a yellow card for diving instead.
