Flavio De Matteis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Agathoulis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tasos Spiliopoulos in the 18th minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo Style f.c from getting a goal against them. Alberto Firmani took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christos Agathoulis. Christos Agathoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 33 minutes Trifillia.FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amedeo Signoretti who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Amedeo Signoretti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis did a great save. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Giardino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Augusto Vieri notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis. Christos Agathoulis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio De Matteis in the 41st minute of play. Christos Agathoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio De Matteis, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Paris Papadimas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paris Papadimas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paris Papadimas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Flavio De Matteis made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Trifillia.FC's zone, Flavio De Matteis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Agathoulis came out of the goal and Flavio De Matteis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Christos Agathoulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Firmani. Christos Agathoulis was a little too slow when Flavio De Matteis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-4. After 72 minutes, Alberto Firmani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gonzo Style f.c and the Trifillia.FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Firmani. After 75 minutes of play Gonzo Style f.c's Alberto Firmani was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 76th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Firmani to maneuver through the defense. Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Augusto Vieri 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. In the 84th minute, Amedeo Signoretti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Christos Agathoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Zisser scored 0-6 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christos Agathoulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Gonzo Style f.c could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trifillia.FC throughout the match.
