Nikiforos Theofilou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prokopis Mamais took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestoras Kavvadias. Nestoras Kavvadias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avraam Stavropodis to maneuver through the defense. Minas Ntaifas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Avraam Stavropodis made a precise shot to the right of Nestoras Kavvadias. Molendikó FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Sakis Sardelis put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Trifillia.FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Molendikó FC:s goal. Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikiforos Theofilou in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Molendikó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Avraam Stavropodis came free, but Nestoras Kavvadias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trifillia.FC's Paris Papadimas pulled a muscle in his leg after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Errikos Melonakos during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trifillia.FC made a substitution. Nikos Traboukidis replaced Paris Papadimas. In the 31st match minute, Molendikó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errikos Melonakos to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Avraam Stavropodis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Kavvadias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Molendikó FC's Nestoras Kavvadias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tasos Spiliopoulos in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Molendikó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakis Kollias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestoras Kavvadias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avraam Stavropodis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avraam Stavropodis in the 45th minute of play forced Molendikó FC's goalkeeper Nestoras Kavvadias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikiforos Theofilou came free, but Christos Agathoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Trifillia.FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikiforos Theofilou made a kick off. Sokratis Vlastaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, Trifillia.FC's Avraam Stavropodis made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestoras Kavvadias was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Avraam Stavropodis got free with Nestoras Kavvadias in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Sokratis Vlastaridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Molendikó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Ntaifas to maneuver through the defense. Trifillia.FC's Christos Kavourdoukos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes of play, Trifillia.FC's Makis Tsipas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestoras Kavvadias was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Adamantios Charalambous got a free kick in the 71st minute. Nikiforos Theofilou struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Christos Agathoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molendikó FC. Thanks to some nice moves Avraam Stavropodis could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Nestoras Kavvadias however easily saved by the left post. Molendikó FC's Nestoras Kavvadias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Traboukidis in the 80th minute of play. Nestoras Kavvadias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Makis Tsipas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avraam Stavropodis took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestoras Kavvadias. Nestoras Kavvadias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Molendikó FC's attentive Sokratis Vlastaridis managed to snatch the ball when Menios Kapsis made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. Avraam Stavropodis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Nestoras Kavvadias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Nestoras Kavvadias managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Trifillia.FC's Avraam Stavropodis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Trifillia.FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Molendikó FC throughout the match.
