When Frank Vulcano came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the GiaSiRo 08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Vulcano couldn't finish the play. If Fanis Papafanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Fanis Papafanopoulos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GiaSiRo 08's Aldo Lemme. Aldo Lemme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, GiaSiRo 08's goal looked a bit too open when Alekos Papachristou came free, but Aldo Lemme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Edoardo Sammartano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GiaSiRo 08 and the Pagos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes GiaSiRo 08 got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Sammartano. Eleftherios Karakotsos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aldo Lemme. GiaSiRo 08's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Vulcano got free with Babbis Kretinos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Frank Vulcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Kretinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Babbis Kretinos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alekos Papachristou to make the kick off. A collision led to GiaSiRo 08 getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Antonio Poletti hit a great ball. After 51 played minutes, Pagos FC's Kostas Karalexopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Lemme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pagos FC reached it. 53 minutes into the match, Frank Vulcano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Babbis Kretinos. Pagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Vulcano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alekos Papachristou in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Lemme, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 75th minute, Frank Vulcano made a precise shot to the right of Babbis Kretinos. Pagos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. GiaSiRo 08's Frank Giannetta got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Babbis Kretinos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, GiaSiRo 08's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Papafanopoulos came free, but Aldo Lemme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Alekos Papachristou took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Aldo Lemme to make any attempt to save it. The GiaSiRo 08 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
