In the 3rd match minute, Maci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Iob to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Micheloudakis charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Micheloudakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when Maci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Tullio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Teodori hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Paris Latousakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Iannone came out and tried to block the shot, but Paris Latousakis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Latousakis came free, but Emanuele Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Karalexopoulos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pagos FC defense, Amos Tullio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Periandros. The Pagos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Periandros should have stopped the shot. Kostas Periandros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Teodori, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Pagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Charis Nebegleras. 36 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Latousakis came free, but Emanuele Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Camillo Croce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuele Iannone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Giannakidis in the 42nd minute of the match. If Vaggelis Giannakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Maci FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Frank Teodori hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Giacchetti was the one to do the kick off. Nikos Micheloudakis got in the 54th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Emanuele Iannone handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Giacchetti got free with Kostas Periandros in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Paris Latousakis fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pagos FC's protests and gave Paris Latousakis a yellow card for diving instead. Paris Latousakis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Giorgos Tsigas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Kostas Periandros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Tullio in the 61st minute of play. Emanuele Iannone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Giannakidis in the 63rd minute of the match. Emanuele Iannone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paris Latousakis's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Emanuele Iannone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Karalexopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Maci FC's Alfonso Iob got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Vaggelis Giannakidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pagos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaggelis Giannakidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Iannone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuele Iannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Giannakidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Amos Tullio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Periandros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Latousakis came free, but Emanuele Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maci FC's Emanuele Iannone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Micheloudakis in the 86th minute of play. Emanuele Iannone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 96 minutes into the match, Augusto Giacchetti notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Pagos FC's Kostas Periandros. Kostas Periandros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
