Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) A collision led to GiaSiRo 08 getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Emanuele Curti hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jean Carl Ciantar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floriana Celtics's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Carl Ciantar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Ciraci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Brian Urpani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Ciraci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Enzo Cellucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Francesco Cabrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When GiaSiRo 08's Francesco Cabrini in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Floriana Celtics's goalie prevented a goal. Austin Gatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Ciraci having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani got a free kick in the 20th minute. Floriana Celtics's Jason Haber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Cellucci in the 23rd minute of play. Brian Urpani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fabiano Ciraci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Austin Gatt, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuele Curti during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Urpani to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Ciraci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Gatt in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francesco Cabrini to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes GiaSiRo 08 got a freekick which was hit by Federico Pietrini. GiaSiRo 08 made a substitution. Ermanno De Rubeis replaced Francesco Cabrini. After 65 played minutes Floriana Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Austin Gatt. Brian Urpani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fabiano Ciraci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Ciraci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Hili went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Fabio Lauri fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floriana Celtics's protests and gave Fabio Lauri a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermanno De Rubeis in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jason Haber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Costacurta hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Fabiano Ciraci came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani. But to his dismay, Brian Urpani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 93 minutes into the match, Brian Urpani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Ciraci. GiaSiRo 08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brian Urpani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Floriana Celtics walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
