Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Omiros Kaloumenos made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stamatis Kaldelis in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Iannone saved Maci FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Maci FC's zone, Omiros Kaloumenos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Iannone came out of the goal and Omiros Kaloumenos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitris Kapopoulos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Emanuele Iannone 9 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Tullio came free, but Manos Melogiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omiros Kaloumenos in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Iannone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omiros Kaloumenos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Omiros Kaloumenos made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maci FC's Emanuele Iannone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Sheriff fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Sheriff's Omiros Kaloumenos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maci FC's Emanuele Iannone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omiros Kaloumenos in the 98th minute of play. Sheriff walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
