Fabiano Ciraci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Marsi in the 4th minute of play. GiaSiRo 08 were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Luponero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jiang Liang took the corner. GiaSiRo 08's Jiang Liang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arrigo Oddi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of GiaSiRo 08 booed when Luponero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefano Marsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arrigo Oddi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Gargano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Gargano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Luponero FC's Alvaro Marsili got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Daniele Fiore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Ciraci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Marchegiani's late challenge caught a GiaSiRo 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlo Marchegiani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Luponero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Marchegiani to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Armando Gargano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Oddi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Ciraci guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Luponero FC's Carlo Marchegiani got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Fabio Costacurta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GiaSiRo 08's Federico Pietrini was substituted for Fabio Costacurta. GiaSiRo 08's Francesco Cabrini was substituted for Armando Gargano. GiaSiRo 08's Fabiano Ciraci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save GiaSiRo 08 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Luponero FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dave Collovati hit a great ball. Fabiano Ciraci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Johnson in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes in the game, Laurence Johnson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabiano Ciraci having to interfere. Arrigo Oddi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Cabrini in the 91st minute of play. Fabiano Ciraci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurence Johnson in the 96th minute.
