Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Donato Puce started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th play minute Brian Urpani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aldo Spadoni. 1-0. Claudio Di Gaetano got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Corrado Marinucci. Floriana Celtics's Jason Haber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Luciano in the 11th minute of play. Armando Toschi made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Floriana Celtics's Oliver Manduca. If Donato Puce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Urpanis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Aldo Spadoni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Donato Puce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aldo Spadoni was a little too slow when Austin Gatt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Brian Urpani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Urpani to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jean Carl Ciantar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floriana Celtics's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Carl Ciantar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Spadoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Puce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Rondinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Hili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Stefano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Floriana Celtics's Malcolm Hili got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Brian Urpani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Floriana Celtics:s goal. The audience was convinced that Donato Puce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Haber was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After having played for 90 minutes, Gregory Boffa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floriana Celtics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregory Boffa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonello Luciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Toschi hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
