Comunardo Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Savoia having to interfere. In the 11th minute Fabiano Paglione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Savoia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Savoia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Villa in the 12th minute of the match. Bruno Forlano came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Carloforte f.c.'s Cristiano Panza. But to his dismay, Cristiano Panza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bruno Forlano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Iacovella in the 17th minute of play. Cristiano Panza kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the CA Boca Jrs defense, Cristiano Panza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Forlano. The CA Boca Jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Forlano should have stopped the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Alessandro Iacovella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Boca Jrs's Bruno Forlano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo De Vito to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs's Fabiano Paglione sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beppe Savoia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Comunardo Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Boca Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Comunardo Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Savoia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
