Telis Ikonomou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Svirkos came free, but Alvise Colombi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Squadra de Pippe got a freekick which was hit by Scofield Volante. A collision led to KAFSONAS F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nikos Marmatakis hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Franco Evani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telis Ikonomou was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Telis Ikonomou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Antonangeli in the 22nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Alvise Colombi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Franco Evani's late challenge caught a KAFSONAS F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Evani helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Squadra de Pippe got a freekick which was hit by Franco Evani. After some careless play in the KAFSONAS F.C. defense, Fabiano Antonangeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telis Ikonomou. The KAFSONAS F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telis Ikonomou should have stopped the shot. Telis Ikonomou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Sardella in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Squadra de Pippe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Marini to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michalis Svirkos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvise Colombi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, KAFSONAS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Franco Evani came free, but Telis Ikonomou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvise Colombi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michalis Svirkos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Squadra de Pippe's Alvise Colombi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 53rd minute of play. Michalis Svirkos scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvise Colombi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Squadra de Pippe's Alvise Colombi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lefteris Alexoulis in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Michalis Svirkos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Colombi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Lefteris Alexoulis made a precise shot to the right of Alvise Colombi. Squadra de Pippe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 70thth minute of the game Franco Evani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAFSONAS F.C.'s Telis Ikonomou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Kosmas Kouroupetroglou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvise Colombi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, Squadra de Pippe's Francesco Sardella got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Squadra de Pippe defense, Michalis Svirkos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvise Colombi. KAFSONAS F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
