Filippos Serametakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sacha Amara, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The throw-in from Christos Koumis in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ground Control's Sofiane Donnat. Fabien Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziioannou Theofilakis in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Ground Control's Alphonse Mathevet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filippos Serametakis. Filippos Serametakis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A hard shot 30 in the game by Just Bazoge from a close distance when the talented Filippos Serametakis managed to make a qualified save. MICE F.C.'s players were relieved. Fabien Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziioannou Theofilakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marios Trakas in the 34th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Fabien Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alphonse Mathevet hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Just Bazoge to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Just Bazoge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ground Control fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Alphonse Mathevet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ground Control's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alphonse Mathevet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alphonse Mathevet during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of MICE F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ground Control:s goal. In the 67th minute, Batiste Lassalle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Just Bazoge in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippos Serametakis saved MICE F.C. from getting behind. When Just Bazoge came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ground Control fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Just Bazoge couldn't finish the play. When Just Bazoge fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Just Bazoge a yellow card for diving instead. Just Bazoge hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Just Bazoge in the 80th minute of play forced MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Filippos Serametakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alphonse Mathevet to maneuver through the defense. Just Bazoge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eutichios Karanasios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fabien Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ground Control's Fabien Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Trakas in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Just Bazoge in the 93rd minute of play forced MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Filippos Serametakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alphonse Mathevet in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippos Serametakis saved MICE F.C. from getting behind. MICE F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
