Carlo Colaneri kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Bianco Ferrara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Silvi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo De Vecchis in the 17th minute of play forced Cesano Boscone's goalkeeper Augusto Silvi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Club Sicilia were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Cesano Boscone's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amos Giusto took the corner. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Emilio Villani scored to the left of an out of position Edoardo Allemandi, making the score, 3-0. Corrado Ferraresi scored 5-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edoardo Allemandi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Edoardo Allemandi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Troiani. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gianluca Scamacca made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Antonio Troiani made a precise shot to the right of Edoardo Allemandi. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Scrima during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edoardo Allemandi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bianco Ferrara went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Flavio Scrima scored 7-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Silvi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Sporting Club Sicilia's Gianluca Scamacca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Augusto Silvi. Augusto Silvi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-2. The Cesano Boscone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beppe De Tommasi got free with Augusto Silvi in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting Club Sicilia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cesano Boscone.
