If Antonio Troiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cesano Boscone getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Antonio Bosco hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Troiani came free, but Fabiano Barillari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Troiani scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabiano Barillari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulvio Flammini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Troiani came free, but Fabiano Barillari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cesano Boscone were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Anselmo Robbiati made the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Barillari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Troiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Troiani in the 61st minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Fabiano Barillari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montesacro FC's Fabiano Barillari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Montesacro FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Troiani got free with Fabiano Barillari in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Marulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Barillari having to interfere. Enrico Eleuteri hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cesano Boscone's zone, Anselmo Robbiati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Allegretti came out of the goal and Anselmo Robbiati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Di Martino. Fabiano Barillari made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Antonio Troiani sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Cesano Boscone left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Montesacro FC.
