Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Arboleda Soberano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Severiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özen Baroğlu's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes, Özen Baroğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O.T.E and the Sliema Dragons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Salamone was substituted for Colin Pullicino Orlando. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Ermis Panakakis fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O.T.E's protests and gave Ermis Panakakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermis Panakakis to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Leon Desira with Leo Scalpello as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Marcelo Severiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermis Panakakis in the 22nd minute. Ermis Panakakis succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Iason Kantimiris's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Severiano firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Thomas Tsatsaronakis put in a rough tackle. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Mangion to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Scalpello to maneuver through the defense. Stamatis Banasidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Grima, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The corner led Sliema Dragons FC's Domingos Herena to fire away a dangerous shot which Stamatis Banasidis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Martin Mangion could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Stamatis Banasidis however easily saved by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Ermis Panakakis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano. Marcelo Severiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ermis Panakakis hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Özen Baroğlu came free, but Marcelo Severiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iason Kantimiris during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sliema Dragons FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for O.T.E.
