Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vassilis Lazarakis got the match started through his kick off. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Lazarakis in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Stamatis Zindros hit a great ball. Nikos Tatsis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Ntinos Vounatsos came free, but Alkis Kalaboukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Vassilis Lazarakis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou. Manos Papaiakovou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Süruri Şanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vassilis Lazarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 23 minutes on the clock, Nikos Tatsis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 22 minutes into the game, one of GREEK ARMY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The throw-in from Periklis Vakalis in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GREEK ARMY's Petros Rafailidis. After 31 minutes of play, GREEK ARMY's Süruri Şanalp made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Papaiakovou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Süruri Şanalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Papaiakovou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Alkis Kalaboukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Bourousis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Süruri Şanalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panagiotis Bourousis was the one to do the kick off. Manos Papaiakovou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Süruri Şanalp went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manos Christodoulou in the 57th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Alkis Kalaboukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Zindros in the 60th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Manos Christodoulou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkis Kalaboukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Zindros in the 66th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Manos Christodoulou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkis Kalaboukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Süruri Şanalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Manos Papaiakovou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GREEK ARMY's Süruri Şanalp got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Go Ahead Eagles from getting a goal against them. Alkis Kalaboukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Bourousis in the 76th minute of the match. Süruri Şanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Süruri Şanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Süruri Şanalp took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Papaiakovou. Manos Papaiakovou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by GREEK ARMY's Süruri Şanalp. But to his dismay, Süruri Şanalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. When the final whistle sounded GREEK ARMY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Go Ahead Eagles.
