Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Christian Castex started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ntinos Vounatsos charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ntinos Vounatsos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Les Pionniers de Touraine booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Vounatsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Christian Castex made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Papaiakovou was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Go Ahead Eagles defense, Ibrahim Chapalain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. The Go Ahead Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ibrahim Chapalain, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Manos Papaiakovou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Castex went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yvan Sabathe in the 21st minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Manos Papaiakovou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Cauchy came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Rodrigue Davoust ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Papaiakovou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some careless play in the Go Ahead Eagles defense, Rodrigue Davoust kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. The Go Ahead Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Ibrahim Chapalain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manos Papaiakovou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Apostolos Antoniou put in a rough tackle. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikos Moustos made a kick off. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibrahim Chapalain in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Go Ahead Eagles defense, Rodrigue Davoust kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. The Go Ahead Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Les Pionniers de Touraine getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jean-Pierre Goigoux hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Bourousis to maneuver through the defense. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Go Ahead Eagles from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Yvan Sabathe came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ibrahim Chapalain got free with Manos Papaiakovou in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou got control of the ball when Christian Castex tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manos Papaiakovou made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ibrahim Chapalain sent off a good shot on target. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yvan Sabathe in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Rodrigue Davoust left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Pionniers de Touraine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Ibrahim Chapalain. But to his dismay, Ibrahim Chapalain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yvan Sabathe in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Rodrigue Davoust reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manos Papaiakovou. The goal made the score 0-14. Manos Papaiakovou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yvan Sabathe in the 93rd minute. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Yvan Sabathe. But to his dismay, Yvan Sabathe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. When the final whistle sounded Les Pionniers de Touraine left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Go Ahead Eagles.
