With a little luck, PicksBattle.com's David Ferran got control of the ball when Panos Kallitzakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. PicksBattle.com's David Ferran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save PicksBattle.com from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Toutourouki f.c.'s Demis Thanos got a free kick in the 15th minute. Errikos Nosis hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Panos Kallitzakis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but David Ferran firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kostas Thomopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Ferran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Giorgos Kazatzidis's late challenge caught a PicksBattle.com's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgos Kazatzidis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Toutourouki f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Kazatzidis to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Stefanoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but David Ferran made a huge save. Kleanthis Manousaridis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Tolis Mantouvalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustratios Kapetanoglou's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Kleanthis Manousaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolis Mantouvalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordanis Papaioannou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Eustratios Kapetanoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Kallitzakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustratios Kapetanoglou hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Toutourouki f.c.'s Kleanthis Manousaridis got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Toutourouki f.c.'s David Ferran threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kleanthis Manousaridis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dimitris Stefanoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. David Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Panos Kallitzakis made a kick off. Panos Kallitzakis spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of PicksBattle.com's goal. Kleanthis Manousaridis struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. David Ferran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toutourouki f.c.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Stefanoglou in the 60th minute of play forced PicksBattle.com's goalkeeper David Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Kleanthis Manousaridis put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Ferran. After a rather tough play, PicksBattle.com's Nasos Stratikis got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kleanthis Manousaridis in the 91st minute of play forced PicksBattle.com's goalkeeper David Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Errikos Nosis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Toutourouki f.c. had played much better football throughout.
